I got a plan 1/23/2026

 I got a plan.

It's been a month since my last post, and I finally have a plan.

Or a semblance of a plan.

Something that remotely looks like a plan.

Plans are good.

Plans help you stay on track. Remind you what you are working toward. Plans can show progress.

Maybe?

The last two years, the plan was slowly add drinking more water and eating more fruits and vegetables. I am happy that I am consistently up to 6 glasses (8 oz. glass) a day. At least two more to go! I am also up to eating 7 different fruits and vegetables every day. Not sure they are always a full serving - that is on the plan!

My plan is simple.

Continue or maintain what I am already doing.

Then, each month, add in one new thing to focus on. For example, I already do a decent job at walking every day. So February will be about adding stretching and flexibility. And I will add it in slowly. 5 minutes a day for February. Then add another 5 minutes in March or April

Sometimes I like to have a month where I maintain before adding in something new. It is one of the reasons It has taken me two years to get to 6 glasses of water every day! (Also, I had some set backs)

I wrote up a chart. Added my goals to Finch (an awesome app to help build habits)/

Now for the hard part - doing the work!

How do you ensure the hard work is done?
